Make Time for Change
Nobody needs convincing that AI matters anymore. Getting senior people to carve out time for it is another story. The fix isn't more of their time. It's backing the people who are already obsessed.

Good thing these days I don’t need to convince anyone that AI matters. AI is here to stay.
But getting senior people to carve out time for it? Still hard.
And I get it. The ships keep sailing. There’s the budget review, the HR meeting, the forecast meeting, the PR commitment, the clients to look after. It was hard already. And now this guy comes along telling you to check out this tool, to try that model.
I can guess what you’re thinking: “Can you just get it done for me?”
Not Fully, No
The tech is one bit of it. But more and more, I see that what makes the difference is what sits behind the model: the expertise, the user experience, the curiosity. That part can’t be delegated to a vendor or a tool.
The Good News
I keep finding more and more people who are obsessed with what they do, and who see in AI a way to do it better. And they’re keen to share.
So here’s the job: put those people at the centre. Equip them with tools. Back them up. They will drive the change for you.
I know. They get to do the fun stuff while you’re still stuck in the board meeting.
But believe me, you’ll be celebrating before you know it.
